Grønlandsleiret 31 sold

Heilo Eiendom assisted the Høyskel family with the sale of Grønlandsleiret 31.

Through Høyskel Holding AS, the Høyskel family has sold Grønlandsleiret 31 in Oslo to Stiftelsen Anker. Heilo Eiendom acted as broker in the transaction. The sale was completed following a broad process with several bidders. The purchase price has not been disclosed.

The property comprises an office building of approximately 7,000 square metres, built in the 1960s. The building is centrally located in Grønland, facing Grønlandsleiret, with Grønland Church on the opposite side of the street.

"We are fond of Grønland and have great faith in the development of this area. We are taking over a property of good technical and architectural quality, and look forward to developing it further," says Svein Hov Skjelle, CEO of Stiftelsen Anker.

Stiftelsen Anker will initially continue the existing office and retail use. In the longer term, the foundation wishes to explore converting the property into student housing. The foundation is already developing student housing in the neighbouring property at Platous gate 14. The two properties share a vehicle entrance.

Grønlandsleiret 31 has been owned by the Høyskel family since the building was constructed. The family has run businesses in Grønland since 1913, and the business is still located in the property.
